01 / Overview Overview

Training that matches the job

Most Tally training teaches the menu structure. That is not usually what a business needs. What a business needs is for the person posting fifty vouchers a day to post them correctly, for the accountant to know which report answers a given question, and for the owner to be able to read the numbers without asking someone to explain them.

BlackCat's training is role-based: accountant-focused TallyPrime training, owner and management reporting guidance, and finance-team workflow sessions - each aimed at what that person actually does.

Sessions include VAT transaction practice and hands-on voucher and report exercises, plus process and control consultation where the way work flows through the system is the real issue.

02 / Audience Who it is for

Who we train

01

Accountants and bookkeepers

The people posting daily transactions, who need speed and accuracy in the vouchers they actually use.

02

Business owners and management

Decision-makers who want to read TallyPrime reports directly rather than wait for a summary.

03

Finance teams and new users

Groups adopting TallyPrime who need consistent, confident practical skills across the team.

03 / Problems What it solves

What untrained usage costs

01

Side spreadsheets

When the system is not understood, people rebuild what they need outside it - and the books stop being the source of truth.

02

Corrections instead of entries

Transactions posted wrongly and fixed later create noise in every report that follows.

03

Reports nobody runs

Management information that exists in TallyPrime but is never used because nobody knows it is there.

04

Key-person dependency

One person who understands the system, and a business that stops when they are on leave.

04 / Approach Our approach

How sessions are structured

  1. 01

    Identify roles

We establish who does what, so each person is trained on the transactions they own.

  2. 02

    Work on real scenarios

Sessions use the voucher types, documents and reports your business actually uses.

  3. 03

    Practise, do not watch

Hands-on voucher and report exercises, including VAT transaction practice.

  4. 04

    Review process and controls

Where the workflow itself is the problem, we cover process and control consultation. For questions after training, see Tally support & AMC.
